Attention National Scissor Sharpeners Guild - NSSG Guild Members and NSSG Master Sharpeners

In addition, the NBTSG organization also welcomes your membership.  As Guild members of the NSSG we would be glad to include you in the Guild Member Look-up at www.nbtsg.com as well as on this blog and other sites to come. We are working on some things for 2013 that will put money in the pocket of all our guild members.

 There is no longer a NSSG website. www.nssg.com website appears to be down, therefore we are not able to confirm Guild Membership for NSSG Guild Members through that method.

What is involved for NSSG Guild Members to join NBTSG?

• To transfer over your membership you will need to fax or email us authentication of your certification. Also, send us a contact of another sharpener that was at the NSSG that year and can confirm your membership.
• Send no money to join. Transferal is free through 2013.
• To continue to be a member of the NBTSG Guild you must attend the NBTSG event in Memphis, TN September 2013.*
• You will be required to re-certify with the NBTSG before 2015. At that time, you will get a new NBTSG certificate and can begin using the NBTSG insginia.
• If and when the NSSG resurfaces as a new intity, you will now have joint membership in both organizations.
• This opportunity will no longer be available if and when the NSSG is restored.
